About North Oakland SCAMP Funding Corporation (NOSFC)

Clarkston SCAMP was founded in 1975 by a dedicated group of individuals who recognized the importance of supporting the special education community in North Oakland County. As the program grew, it became clear that fundraising was essential to sustaining and expanding SCAMP. To meet this need, the North Oakland SCAMP Funding Corporation (NOSFC) was established.

Today, NOSFC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a 22-member volunteer board. Our mission is to keep tuition affordable for all SCAMPers and to provide scholarships for families in need. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, no camper has ever been turned away due to financial hardship.

How We Fund SCAMP

To ensure every child and adult can experience the magic of SCAMP, we rely on:

  • Annual Fundraisers – Community events that bring people together in support of SCAMP.
  • Donations & Gifts – Contributions from individuals, businesses, and organizations that believe in our mission.
  • Grants & Sponsorships – Funding from a variety of sources to help sustain and grow our program.

Your support helps us continue providing life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs. Together, we make SCAMP possible!
