provide a safe, fun summer camp for children and adults with disabilities.
What a day. What a community. What a way to kick off the next 50.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Walk & Roll 2026. Whether you walked, rolled, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines, you made this year’s celebration truly special.
This year marked an incredible milestone – 51 years of SCAMP – and the beginning of our journey to build the next 50 . What started over five decades ago continues to grow because of a community like you, committed to creating a safe, inclusive camp experience for individuals with disabilities.
Seeing longtime participants alongside first-time attendees is always a powerful reminder of just how strong and connected our SCAMP family is.
A huge congratulations to this year’s Golden Shoe Award winner – Springfield Plains Elementary! Thank you for inspiring us all with your energy and support.
We hope the music, memories, and miles shared this year reminded you of how far we’ve come and how much more is ahead. The future of SCAMP is bright and we’re so grateful to have you join us.

Building the next 50 – together, SCAMP
Get ready to move, groove, and give back! Join us for Walk & Roll 2026—our beloved community event celebrating SCAMP and supporting our mission to provide a safe, fun summer camp for children and adults with disabilities.
This FREE, family-friendly event invites participants to walk or roll (no bikes, please) around the track to earn raffle tickets for amazing prizes.
Enjoy music, food trucks, a bounce house, and our popular Dog Contest ($5 entry per pup)! While admission is free, you can purchase t-shirts, raffle tickets, and food, or make a donation to support SCAMP.
Don’t miss your chance to help your school win the Golden Shoe Award for the highest participation—be sure to check in at your school’s table!
